Lexus has outlined a new EV future wtih the Lexus LF-Z concept vehicle. Lexus plans to introduce 20 new or revised vehicles to its lineup within the next 5 years. 10 of them should be BEV, hybrid or PHEV. This concept vehicle sets what appears to be a radical new direction for Lexus going forward, but looking a bit deeper, Lexus still does not have a full EV vehicle for sale and there is no affimative announcement of one yet.
I also have a concern about how well they can balance Lexus Driving Signature which is a very driver-focused approach to luxury performance vehicles and align that with features such as steer-by wire which removes all physical connection to the road surface.
