I'm not sure if many know this, because of the lack of Lex Luthor videos I have, but he is one of my favourite characters from Smallville. The way his story was handled, and how the writers decided to actually include a Lex/Clark friendship, and Lex's strive to be good, and not live in his father's dark shadow -- it was some of the best stuff on the show. I'm glad that the series had as much a look at the Luthor side of the Superman story, as it did with the Kents. Lionel, Lex, and Tess carried with them the most complex, and dark storylines. The whole theme of redemption, shown more through Tess, is something I loved. And the whole "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" aspect of Lex's story -- I can't say enough. He's an awesome character, and even though it sucks how his story end, I don't think the writers had much of a choice if they were really going for lining up with the mythos.

I want to dedicate this video to Ashley. Ashley, you're an amazing person to talk to. You inspire me to keep vidding Smallville, especially those characters and ships I don't usually vid. I'm so glad I met you during the last two seasons, I believe, of Smallville, when the fandom grew so incredibly ugly and hateful, because you were always a pleasure to talk to, and your love of Chloe, in particular -- well, its always nice to have someone to talk to who has similar opinions and feelings on things. As I've constantly said, you helped me to see another perspective on certain characters/ships, and, ugh, I can't say enough about you -- you're a wonderful human being and I hope this video brings you some level of joy (its Lex f*cking Luthor! hahaha). Also, your Star Wars references are priceless. And maaatteee, someone needs to start producing these great wookie porn ideas we've been talking about, lmfao! But yes, you're awesome and I hope you like this! :)
