Alaska's often fragmented and inconsistent energy data poses significant challenges for regulatory analysts across the state. In this webinar, Jesse Kaczmarski, a data science researcher with ACEP's data and cyber infrastructure management team, will demonstrate how to leverage subject matter expertise and data science through dynamic reporting tools, and to collaborate and foster transparency with academic and industry partners to jointly clean, analyze, and distribute energy data that can inform policy making.
Jesse Kaczmarski is a data science researcher with ACEP’s data and cyber infrastructure management team. Specializing in energy economics and econometrics, he develops open-source tools for data collection, analysis, and governance, with expertise in Python and R, supporting social, behavioral, and economic research. Kaczmarski holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of New Mexico, where he published research on energy markets and demand response programs.
