This is the Penshurst - Dunkeld Road level crossing at Dunkeld, Victoria. It is located on the branch line from Maroona to Portland which is predominantly used for the transport of export grain to Portland.
These signals were installed on November 9, 1983. The northern signal has a McKenzie & Holland base and Westinghouse LED lights. The southern signal has an unmarked base, Westinghouse LED lights, a Westinghouse hybrid bell and an Artcraft healthy state indicator.
Train information:
1st train: 7740V grain from Lubeck to Portland, with locomotives G539, 8165 and X48. The grain originated from Woomelang. Filmed on August 15, 2021.
2nd train: 7998 heritage passenger special from Portland to Maroona, with locomotives S307 and C501. The train was run by Seymour Rail Heritage Centre, filmed on July 16, 2023.
