I let my 8-year-old fly an FPV drone for the first time and made him a deal—if he could stay in the air for one full minute, the drone and goggles were his. He was totally ready for it and jumped right in.
He flew line of sight like a champ—steady & focused. After hitting the one-minute mark, we geared him up with the goggles and let him try full FPV (Stability Mode). He did an awesome job and handled it way better than I expected.
Pretty cool moment for both of us. Looks like I’ve got a future FPV pilot in the making.
