International groups descend on Letterkenny in County Donegal as part of the annual folk festival.
Groups from Britain, the United States, France, Belgium and Denmark arrive in Donegal to participate in the 18th International Letterkenny Folk Festival from 14 to 18 August 1986. The French group 'Ensemble Folklorique de Dijon' and Morris dancers from the North of England entertain the crowds on the streets of Letterkenny. Dancer David Robinson believes the festival is a good opportunity to show everyone the type of Morris dancing that is done in England.
