Here's my Let's Try of the demo of ITER-8 (PC), a 2D roguelite mining / tower defense game, developed by fluckyMachine and published by Fireshine Games. This demo was originally played during the 2026 Steam Next Fest - February Edition, with the full game released on March 9, 2026.
STORE DESCRIPTION: "You have been randomly selected for an exciting new role.
Pilot your mech-drill into colossal Pillars, mine valuable resources, and return to base to defend company property from hostile mechanoids.
If you fail, don’t worry. Your replacement will pick up where you left off.
In ITER-8, you’ll:
⛏ Drill deep into massive Pillars to uncover valuable resources
🤖 Defend your base with turrets and firepower against waves of enemies
⚡ Unlock upgrades and abilities to mine faster and survive longer
🔁 Embrace iteration. Every Operator is expendable, every run pushes the mission forward
The goal? Reach the top of the Pillar.
No matter how many Operators it takes."
