Let's Talk End Times: Will There Be a Great Revival Before Jesus Returns or a Great Falling Away? In this eye-opening video, we dive deep into one of the most debated questions in end times eschatology: Will there be a great revival or billion soul harvest before Jesus returns, or will Scripture point to a great falling away (apostasy)? Many believers hope for a massive global awakening, but what does the Bible actually say? Drawing from over 20 years of personal study, along with insights from respected scholars like Dr. Mark Chironna and Lee Brainard, we examine key passages—including 2 Thessalonians 2:3, Joel 2, Habakkuk 2, Matthew 24:14, and more—to see if they support an end-times revival or warn of widespread apostasy. We also review the four major eschatological views (Historic Premillennialism, Amillennialism, Postmillennialism, and dispensational premillennialism), my current stance in Historic Premillennialism (no pre-trib rapture, church facing tribulation), and why humility is essential—since many past predictions (like Y2K or barcodes as the mark of the beast) have proven wrong, breeding fear rather than faith.
We explore real-world examples of counterfeit or short-lived moves, such as the Asbury Revival's sobering long-term results (where participating churches showed no growth or even decline compared to others), high-profile falls from grace, and cultural/political "revivals" that never led to the cross. Dr. Mark Chironna dismantles popular revival narratives, while Lee Brainard highlights a dominant falling away with possible pockets of revival in a remnant church—perhaps underground amid coming darkness. Despite widespread apostasy (with only a small percentage of American Christians holding a true biblical worldview), there's hope: the Gospel continues to spread (especially via the internet and missions to the unreached 10/40 Window), Jesus promised to be with us to the end, and the gates of hell will not prevail.
