I have two mantras for 2024: Styling over Shopping and Curation over Clutter. I realized a long time ago that i dont want a minimalist wardrobe, but i DO want one that brings me joy and value. I get super inspired watching Vogue in the Wardrobe videos, where the wardrobes feel almost archival. You could pull a piece from it and it would take you back to a certain evening or time - that thought just gets me so excited. But i realized you cant curate that vibe if more and more stuff is constantly being brought in that we bought on a whim or because it was trending.
