Hey Friends! Today I am setting up a brand new insert for my personal journal. I decided against using another junk journal insert from Sea Salted Paper because it was just too thick for me, and I felt like I needed a bit of a change so I opted to use a dot grid insert from the Travelers Company and I do really like it but now that I’ve been using it for a few weeks I’m noticing that the paper is a little bit finicky. It’s not handling glue or watercolor very well, and I’m a little bit nervous to even try using one of my fountain pens on it because I feel like it’s going to bleed through the paper really bad. I still am really enjoying the standard size for my personal journal and feel like I will continue using it for the rest of the year, but the inserts will vary as a come to need them.
