I want to run away
to places where only
the sun can find me

I'll live with
the pastel pink skies
and small shiny leaves

no one will bother me
I'll escape to my own dwelling
no responsibilities

I'll make friends with hedgehogs
and write stories
about the way the stars
reflect on streams
on a clear night

the air will be fresh and new
always spring
always peaceful

birdsong will wake me up
and I'll have breakfast
with the robins

my tea will usually be smoky
but it may also have hints
of lavender

I'll pick flowers every week
and press them
in my homemade notebook

I'll create every day
judgement-free
and every afternoon
will be as refreshing
as the last
