In this video we kick off a series covering the restoration of a TRS-80 Model 4P. The Model 4P is a smaller, portable version of the Model 4 which was the last of the classic TRS-80 computers. We’ll start by tearing the unit down, calling an exterminator, replacing the power supply and applying power to this beauty for the first time in years.
In the next video we’ll clean up the floppy drives and cover a few ways to make a bootable floppy from an image. Join us and see if we can bring this 4P back to life.
