Friday, June 23, 2023 - Each week, the word nerd, Amanda Zieba, reads aloud the first chapter of an amazing middle grade or YA book on this channel! This week she’ll be reading chapter 1 from another book that has been made into a movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants! If you are looking for a story that includes friendship, romance, summer adventures, family drama and life lessons, this one will be GREAT! As you listen, write it down and then stay to the end to see if you’ve got it down correctly.

Personally, I recommend this book for grades 7 and up. There is some romantic content that might be too mature for readers aged 12 and under. Nothing explicit, but implied.
