Omgggg! So sorry the game audio was too low! I didn't realize the volume mixer had the game turned down so low which is why my usual OBS settings didn't work well this time around. (It's harder to gauge these things with a headset compared to speakers)
I used to use DxTory which conveniently records the mic and game audio in a split table file so if one was too quiet I could use Audacity to work magic. With OBS... not so much. But the tradeoff is better quality videos so I'd prefer using OBS to record from here on out.
While the game volume sounded normally to me whilst I was playing, it was actually that my headset was turned to max and OBS was recording it too quietly (and again, the volume mixer had the game turned down which must have been something I did a while back). Normally, I'd have done tests before the recording but I trusted myself too much lmao. Next time, for sure, I'll test.
I could have rerecorded this but I had so much fun during the commentary that I really, really didn't wanna give this one up. Hey, at least it's not the other way around. Having game audio louder than mic audio is, oh boy...
And finally. Will the 1440p memes work this time around? Let's see...
