While the engines of hatred continue to rage against Germania and Gaul, we must never forget the insolence of the Irish.

Rome: Total War is a PC strategy game developed by The Creative Assembly and released in 2004 by Activision. In Rome: Total War It is one of my favorite games. In the main campaign you play one of three rival factions working together to conquer the ancient world for the glory of Rome. However, the more you conquer the higher your popularity will be with the people, which will make the Senate and your rivals factions jealous and eventually declare war on you. The game is split into two parts. The campaign map is where you control your faction's provinces and upgrade town infrastructure, control tax rates, recruit and move army units. When two enemy armies meet you are placed in a 3D real-time tactical battle where your armies duke it out with a paper/rock/scissors approach to battle tactics (spears beat calvary, swordsmen beat spears, etc). That is a VERY basic overview of this wonderful game. However, after beating the game you can play as some of your enemy factions. In this Let's Play I decided to play as the barbarian Britons! Where we will expand our empire, conquer our enemies, and bring Rome to its knees. C'mon then, let's change history.
