Forgotten what happened in Shenmue 1 and 2? Can't be bothered to play it yourself? Don't want to sit through my LP again? I don't blame you! And apparently even YsNet thought it might be a good idea to refresh people on the story of the game.
This Recap Movie, featured on the main menu of Shenmue 3, sums up the basic story of Shenmue 1 and 2 so you can go into Shenmue 3 better informed.
It's not an indepth summary but it does the job. Although I dispute the part where it says Ryo turns to Joy for help when he tries to ignore her every time at the start. At least this video reminded me how fun Shenmue 2 was.

So while all the cool kids have been playing their Fallouts or Black Cops Ive been playing this instead. Whilst Metroid: Other M was the most dissapointing Wii game for me (though to reiterate, it was kind of fun and I didnt hate it dispite what many who watched my silly video apparently thought), Sonic Colours is definitely the biggest surprise, far exceeding my expectations (which admittedly were pretty low). Fun level designs, neat power ups and most importantly, controls that actually work in a 3D Sonic game. And they cut out all the frills and superfluous shit out of Sonic, cutting out the supporting characters and having a simplistic plot with no ancient prophecies of world destruction or hidden ancient creature of death or anything like that, just Sonic, Tails, Robuttnik and a race of little alien creatures who merely replace the role of the captured little animals from previous Sonic games (Unless you bought the DS version apparently, in which case ENJOY YOUR BLAZE THE CAT AND SILVER THE HEDGEHOG).")
