We've reached the penultimate level not just in this campaign, but in my playthrough of Rise of the Triad Ludicrous Edition and my, it's a big one. It's here that El Oscuro has placed the final of his standard guard in a last ditch effort to stop us. There's also a hefty dose of tricks and traps, but I doubt the cult leader expects these to stop us. No, he hopes it will buy him enough time to get his contingency plan in place, but we know what he's planning already.
What will slow us down, however, is the fact that this level has the final developer ball in it. The process for getting this one is the longest and most convoluted of them all and you want to bet we're getting it for those sweet, sweet extra points at the end of the campaign.
It's all about the points and collectibles, after all. Oh, and the heroic vandalism.

Now that weve done some light reading on the gods, its time to commune with them. Everything we need to do so is in this room and we can talk to as many or as few of them as we want, but we need the blessing of at least one of them to survive pursuing Thaos to where hes gone. Regardless of whether your character believes in the gods or not, this part is non-negotiable if you want to complete the game normally.
The first group of gods well be talking to are Galawain, Magran and Abydon. On the matter of Thaos and what to to do with all the souls the Leaden Key have stolen away, they speak with one mind. What Magran isnt doing, however, is speaking to Durance, the final clue as to whats going on with him. We have their blessing already thanks to me dealing with the issue in Galawains Maw, but we can promise to solve things how theyd like to get a permanent stat buff boon and a pretty good one at that.
After them, well talk brieflyt with Rymrgand who will give us a quest to do so that we can gain his blessing.
