Yup, the Forest of Illusion is... well... not too complicated actually. You basically just go north, then south and follow the path around until you find Mint. She's... rather annoying, to be honest.
I kept referring to Prinky as Plinky for some reason, too. Ever since taking Japanese a few years ago, I tend to either combine my Ls and Rs or swap them entirely. Not sure why, to be honest.
I have been messing up a lot of names though, so maybe my brain is playing tricks on me.
