Verdugo is the self-named hybrid of human and Plaga DNA that one of Salazar's servants took the burden of becoming (Think of the Lizard from Spider-Man, but resistant to bullets). We get to see what it's like to be hunted by it. Dr Luis Serra is a researcher we met earlier in the game), he's going to be our companion for a while and he has a gun and drugs that suppress the Plagas infection (the drugs suppress the infection, not the gun). El Gigante is a massive Ganado, also stronger and meaner than your average Ganado, and we're going to take on two of them, with one being armored (and none too happy to be stuck in a blast furnace with us). That is as concise a description as I can give.
