PS I was a lil distracted from the battle to describe the new rule, but basically the rule for Hidden Grottos encounters is I will place Grotto Pokemon in a separate box from "regular" encounters, & when we need a new team member I will flip a coin to determine which box we'll pick from.

The WEDLOCKE rules are a Nuzlocke variant were originally created by Marriland (youtube.com/watch?v=hMZqwUbknLY), but here I changed them up a little:
1. Catch the first Pokemon in a route/area. Areas that
2. If a Pokemon faints it must be released/placed in the PC as soon as possible.
3. Pokemon are placed in "pairs". Pairs may only swap between the other in a pair. Pairs can be any gender & are decided when either caught in order, or randomly selected when picking a new Pokemon from a box.
4. Pokemon caught on a route, cave, etc. all count as the encounter of that area when caught. If there is a Hidden Grotto on that same route, it is considered a new encounter, but placed in a separate "Hidden Grotto" box.
5. When a Pokemon dies, I must flip a coin to determine if we will pick from the "Regular Encounters" box or the "Hidden Grottos" box.
6. A new team of pairs are selected after every second gym badge is earned. These new pairs are selected at random between everybody in the boxes.
7. "Dupes Clause" is in effect, as in if the first encounter we get is a Pokemon we already caught, I can run away/defeat it & encounter another one. We can do this five times. If after five nothing new shows up, we cannot catch anything else. If it's a Pokemon that has a split evolution (ex: Poliwhirl, Gloom, Clamperl, etc.), we can catch two of them.
