We can't deal with Hylea's request without going through Northweald, so let's take care of the other part of Berath's first followed by getting the people in Noonfrost to stop poking at the magical portal to an endless frozen realm of entropy. You know, simple things. Fortunately for us, Lyrin can be very persuasive, even when it comes to convincing the head of a druidic order to end their unnaturally long life.
The side effect of doing this is that the Ethik Nôl despise the Ovates of the Golden Grove even more than they hate us. Convincing her that it's her time to pass on gains us a huge amount of positive reputation with teh Ethik Nôl and it seems that negative reputation has a miminum it can reach, as the gain is enough to push us out of the lowest brachet.
That's right, this one act has made us no longer public enemy number one to the druidic order that we almost completely eradicated by ourselves. Games can be funny like that.

The creators of this campaign really wanted to show off the lighting system in the ludicrous edition and my, is it obvious with this level here.
Darkest War is pretty gloomy even if you dont go around engaging in heroic vandalism like I do. The shadowy corners allow for sneaky ambushes and other traps to be sprung upon you, forcing you to sneak about when you really want to dash through everywhere MP40ing everything that moves and lots of things that dont.
As fun as that is, rushing headlong into new places is a great way to get yourself killed, so its best to temper your enthusiasm for dakka just a little bit, but not too much. There arent enforcers and deathfire monks around every corner... at least, not yet.
