Mario Golf for Gameboy Color originally released in North America on October 5, 1999; received a 3DS Virtual Console release on October 11, 2012; and now on Nintendo Switch Online on March 12, 2024. This broadcast is on the NSO version for convenience. I set out to complete every objective in the main story - this did not include match games against Luigi, Wario, and Mario.
In this fifth segment, I struggle my way through Golf Guru's Pitch n' Putt. By far the hardest field challenge in the game. Based on my memories through this game and Advance Tour, this challenge uses the player's tendencies to bulk up against them. Advance Tour's version is - in my opinion - much easier, since you can partially mitigate weaknesses in your stats with custom clubs and you have additional spin control. Here, all you have is pure grit.
