This was recorded on my old crappy PC using the XboxOne. So the quality is very bad, but it's still a good video for reference After the No Mercy video, I start using a new PC, so the quailty jumps way up to 1080p AND no more XboxOne yay!!
Back to Commentary videos. I have been playing this game for many months now, and I wanted to be able to beat all the campaigns on expert with bots, so I put in effort to try and figure it out.
Will be starting off with the "easier" campaigns and work my way up.
Hopefully will not die multiple times from bad luck.
This is mostly a walkthrough for myself since I get the feeling I will be moving on from this game soon. It took me months to get to this level of gameplay (not pro skillz, but to a level where all levels can be enjoyed casually).
This is especially useful to people who need the Still Something to Prove achievement but have to do it Single Player for whatever reason (No one to play with, friends have bad schedule or not interested, etc.) and may need to see someone doing it in order to get through the mental block.
These videos aren't intended to show how to do things solely "the intended way" or the best way. They are mostly done to show how to do things easily enough (without exploits) to get through parts of the games if you enjoy it casually. It's a weird feeling when you stop playing a game and have to relearn everything from scratch especially with my terrible memory.
I think the only exploits I am aware of are "skipping" the roller coaster in Dark Carnival & disabling the decay for temporary health.
This campaign is the easiest one in the game.
Tips:
-1st level, use magnum
-2nd level, there are a minimum of 8 medkits on this level, so do not feel like you can't heal (4 in safe house + 4 at gun shop)
-3rd level, take it slow during the crescendo and use a sniper or chainsaw if you want an easy time. Preferably a sniper to keep infected a safe distance.
-Finale, you may not even fight a tank. If you have an adrenaline shot, gather the 8 scavenger cans and place them in front of the car, use the adrenaline shot then empty the fuel into the car. Very easy.
Even if you don't use the adrenaline shot, a tank may not even appear. you can pretty much just melee infected for the most part because the bots do a great job of protecting you.
