Welcome to my blind/first-impressions Let's Play of Hollow Knight (PC), a dark fantasy hand-drawn 2D metroidvania, developed and published by Team Cherry. This was originally released on PC at February 24, 2017.
To cut a long-story short, it's INCREDIBLY well-regarded by fans and critics for its gameplay, art, atmosphere, music, world building/lore, and overarching design. Becoming one of the cornerstones of the metroidvania genre - influencing numerous other games, especially in the indie sphere(s).
SHORT DESCRIPTION: "Beneath the fading town of Dirtmouth sleeps the vast, ancient, ruined insect kingdom of Hallownest. Many are drawn beneath the surface, searching for riches, or glory, or answers to old secrets. As the enigmatic Knight, you’ll traverse the interconnected depths, unravel its mysteries and conquer its evils."
In this episode, I pass through King's Road, Dirtmouth, and the Forgotten Crossroads for the first time.
