The long-awaited Emperor DLC is finally out for Europa Universalis 4 and I'm celebrating with this Let's Play as Holland! In this episode, we (slowly but surely) convince major powers to support our independence from Burgundy, while increasing the loyalty of the burghers, clergy and nobility. We also established a significant trade presence in the English Channel and made some powerful allies.
Forming the Dutch nation and uniting the Low Countries will be no easy feat, with the looming threat of the Holy Roman Empire and an ever more powerful France. We may have to look to trade and colonization to increase our wealth and establish ourselves as a great power. More episodes soon!
