Having failed to find our way into Volcano Manor (even though, as I'll find out in a later episode, I really should have noticed the path to it!), we wander back into Altus Plateau and explore a blighted castle, tucked away in the region's edge.
Elden Ring is a FromSoftware game that serves as an open-world successor to the famous "Soulsborne" titles and related games, including Demon's Souls, the Dark Souls trilogy, Bloodborne, and Sekiro. The player is cast as a wanderer known as a Tarnished, who must venture through the ruined Lands Between in order to find the titular Elden Ring. The game was directed by longtime FromSoftware creator Hidetaka Miyazaki, and also features worldbuilding done by George R.R. Martin.
