Taking the upper path, Trevor finds himself in a clock tower riddled with Medusa Heads. After ascending it fully, he is confronted by a demonic humanoid who - upon being beaten - reveals himself to be a human by the name of Grant DaNasty. He looks like a pirate, but his story is that his family was killed by Dracula and he wishes to get revenge for it. Torn between accepting or rejecting his offer, Trevor welcomes Grant along and a sudden tremor demolishes the bridge connected the clock tower with Dracula's castle, so it's back down the clock tower for the both of them.
