We sneak (and sometimes fail to sneak) past Inquisition guards using rocks, pots, and a bit of luck while grabbing as many supplies as possible. After reaching Laurentius’s farm, things get dark fast. We learn more about Hugo’s condition and unlock alchemy, letting us fight back with fire. The chapter wraps up with a chaotic escape through rats and flames, and a big hint at the mystery of the Macula.
