The game has been beaten. I spoke a little too early about not finding items. In the next episode, I actually do find everything and explain what happened. (SPOILERS: Below if you haven't seen the next episode)
I explain a few things in this video such as:
1) Why is the "girl who kicks" sometimes missing her hat?
A) It's when you enter a mission without being at a full health.
2) Is the Buster item possible to be found in the wild?
A) No, I don't think enemy "Counter" items can be found in boxes. They are actually found when you defeat a monster in combat, there is a small chance that they will drop it. However, it my hard copy of the disc (the US version), I swear that GON does NOT drop the buster. Fortunately, as I show in the next episode, random computer hunters actually carry the Buster at Level 15. Thanks to user MrL1193 for his AI guide. I thought about that after watching this episode while editing and completely forgot that enemies contain items. His list made it easier for me to figure out that only the "Extreme" hunters with maxed stats in one area seem to have this rare item.
I did it off camera, but I was basically just going on a GON hunting spree where I get 3 characters to protect the dude with the target item, and I constantly knocked out GON over 20 times resulted in a lot of wasted time, and I received no drops. It may have to do with multiple hunters fighting the same enemy, but I am not sure.
