Oh boy, this is gonna be a long one...
Hello you beautiful people!

It's finally out! The video I have been teasing, announcing and promoting and the video I have been most excited about! I feel like the info I'm gonna share with you is so much that Ill separate it into different parts so buckle up! I promise its gonna be worth it to read tho, I have a special surprise for you guys ;)

PREPARATIONS:
Okay, so: After the Lofi Hip-Hop tutorial I was thinking about how to make my videos (where I actually talk) more organized. At the same time, I wanted to improve on the overall graphical and audible quality. I had 3 problems and I found 3 solutions:
1.Organization: Obviously I wanted to create a script because back when I was recording the Lofi tutorial (and the Future Funk one as well) I had massive problems with expressing what I wanted to express with the right words thus wasting more time at and after the recording. I started out with something 90% of the population doesn't know it even existed: with a Microsoft whiteboard cluster! I collected all the information I wanted to be in the video. The app is synced to my Microsoft account so whenever I would go out I would take my laptop with me and brainstorm outside which helped because I had nothing that could distract me. After I was done (or at least I felt so) I started writing the script. The process alone took me over 2-3 weeks to complete, only writing down the basic ideas at first and only then organizing them and noting down jokes and improving them. Yada yada, I ended up with 4 PAGES of script, Jesus Christ...
2. Graphical and 3.Audible quality can be summed up to one: I knew I wanted the video to be better in any way shape or form. For that I got myself a new tripod and, most importantly, I FINALLY found out how to record on my phone without the stupid time limit. Obviously, the phonecam was WAY better than the webcam that I used. Although I used the same mic (Blue Yeti Mic) I improved the quality of my voice by far by using Voicemeeter, a free program that compresses and EQs your mic signal. Funny enough the voice was recorded in Audacity out of all programs xD

EDITING:
The part that both, took the longest time to complete, and had the most coffee running through my veins was definitely the editing! I spent almost double the time on the editing compared to the script making but it definitely paid off!
Preparing the main video: At first, I had to separate all clips I wanted from the clips that were trash (I actually made a separate blooper video! Its pretty funny, here, as a reward that you've come this far: youtu.be/RWmA0x-BbJk ). This process alone took me over a week plus a couple of sleepless nights because I was so focused on editing.
Obviously, there were a lot of cuts needed to be made, especially zooms and texts
Animation: Yes, it even had a stop motion animation! I individually drew out all the 46 frames on a 3-buck-whiteboard I got from a dollar-shop (this sounds so ridiculous), scanned them in, edited them in Gimp, put them in a separate Sony Vegas project, animated it and only then put it in the main project. Phew, it took SO much time but it was worth every second!!!
Lastly, I wanted to talk about the background music. Who would've thought, it was all made by meeee, yay! It featured some Lofi Hip-Hop tracks that I have already posted and a jazz loop that I experimented with for quite some time. It also featured my newest song "On The Rooftops" that's out on Soundcloud rn so go check it out.

If you've made it this far I want to officially congratulate you for graduating in Abrixoligy, the art of making everything longer as it should be!
Real talk, the support I got from all of you is absolutely AMAZING. It makes me happy every time I get a new comment. Thank all of you so much for watching this, I spent a crazy amount of time to create this video!
Thank you for reading all of this! In fact, you're all so great that you deserve two videos as a reward! Thank you for being with me on this wild journey that is Youtube:
