If you’re trying to breed fish that scatter their eggs, make a DIY spawning mop! The fish will lay their eggs in the yarn strands, and then you can move the spawning mop into a separate tank or container to hatch out the babies without worrying about predation. Most people make it with a floating cork, but you can also attach the yarn to a rock or suction cup to make it sink.

🐟 MATERIALS I USED
▶ 100% acrylic yarn (from craft store)
▶ Wine cork (from eBay), small rock, or suction cup
