OKAY REMEMBER LIKE, HOW I SAID I FOUND my old 2015-2016 flashdrive? THIS was another project that had all the outline done and was half colored, sO... IT WAS LIKE, HECK okay I'll finish coloring it. XD I used the new 2021 colors with the characters and made it a fun hybrid of my old and new style for the characters. This was a very lighthearted fun and quick meme and I always wished I had finished it, so finding the frames again I couldn't pass it up.
So first we see Pictures in the regular valleys of Media before switching to Curiosity the Jester in the Unending Labyrinth jungle, and then we go to Radio and Video in the Sanctified Meadows for a fun dance with all of them. All these are locations in book 1 of Mandatory so it's a fun spoiler-free meme! I streamed coloring this on my Twitch and had a blast, Panthera suggested the meadows for the final BG during the stream since I was torn on just doing a forest or Clowder City (which I then briefly did for the end with vegas effects) and I ran with it. This whole video was a strange hybrid of MS paint for the frames and backgrounds, Photoshop for adding transparency, and Vegas Movie Studio for the effects and sky.
It was such a blast, got me in the groove for thinking about the types of backgrounds I want to do for the animated series and Lore of Media book, sO, all around worth it. That and I got to gush about Curiosity during stream so I am delighted and so happy to post this XD
