Elephants are herd animals, naturally thriving in a matriarchal society. Unfortunately, captivity often results in elephants being kept in isolation, deprived of meaningful relationships with their own kind.

At Elephant Nature Park, our primary objective is to facilitate elephants living as part of a herd. They need companionship - a friend, a nanny, a surrogate mother.

Watch this heartwarming video capturing the Chana herd as they indulge in a mud bath and dusting session following a swim in the nearby river. Although each member of the herd was rescued at different times and from different locations, they have formed a beautifully cohesive bond since their rescue.

Witness the true essence of elephant companionship and loyalty.
