zakid | Let the Battles Begin! (Final Fantasy VII) - piano transcription @themrzakid | Uploaded August 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Composed by Nobuo Uematsu
Arranged and performed by Ryota Kikuchi
A different take on the battle theme from FF7, compared to the PC version it doesn't stray as much harmonically and keeps it closer to the original. I like how it puts more emphasis on the rhythmic elements of the piece.
I think the transcription turned out out pretty dope, there is some stuff that is not very audible (like bars 75 or 99-102), so I took the bits and pieces of what I could hear and connected them together with my own runs. They ended up very reasonable in my opinion (if you can even call these mad runs reasonable lol).
I also generated a MIDI from Sibelius, it is a little bit wacky with MIDI velocities, but other than that it sounds pretty good.
