As an adult collector do you ever get asked the question: "When are you going to grow up?" Whether you collect Toys or comics it's always the same.
In today's video, we take a look at this Question and look at it from a different angle. We ask the question "Are we at fault for depriving future generations of their own new and original content?"
When I was a child I loved Cartoons, Comics and Toys and in adult life I have yet to let go.
I grew up,
Met a Girl,
Got Married,
Bought a House
and had kids
yet still I collect toys.
And I know I am not alone.
Being a Geek is In at the moment and companies are tailor making content and consumables for us adult collectors, Luring us in with Nostalgia.
But all this comes at a cost.
Our own kids no longer have something to call their own and instead have content forced upon them by their parents that is no longer suitable for their age.
Back in the day you could trust that a comic book would be child friendly, however nowadays a parent could be giving a child anything within those pages.
Am I alone in this Thought?
