Lessons learned and shared with this community so we all can learn a bit from a scary and dangerous situation. While sailing offshore from Panama to Saint Maarten I lost my forestay about 20nm north of Aruba. Half this video is an explanation of what happened, and the other half is the lessons I've learned from this experience.
