A Lesser Yellowlegs (Tringa flavipes) squats down for a moment in the mud at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, in Chambers County, TX, USA. I've never seen a Yellowlegs do something like that. So I'm not sure if it was injured maybe or if it was just resting.
