Burglar stopped by Less Lethal Concepts Pepper Spray Alarm System. Read the home owners account below.
In the early hours of 27th Feb we woke up with the sound of our security alarm.
We switched ON our monitor for the CCTV and we couldn't believe what we saw. A guy was busy opening one of the windows of our house with a crowbar. Least bothered about the alarm going off he continued breaking in (probably he knew that house breaking was their constitutional right and he will get free bail the very next day ) He finally came inside the house and started shopping around, checking what he wants to take and what is not worth the trouble. In the meantime we are watching all this live on cctv and waiting for security to arrive. Then our worst nightmare came true.
Since he saw that probably there is no help coming for the owners of the house he decided to take his shopping to the next level and came towards the bedroom.
The door was locked but that could have been a piece of cake for him, thanks to the gadgets he had in his bag.
We were just sitting ducks waiting for the worst when our PEPPER SPRAY decided to take over and tell him who was the BOSS!
We have 2 pepper sprays in our sitting room and they both decided to activate at the same time.
Next scene cant be described in words. It was something worth watching. He didn't know what hit him, we just saw him running around like a headless chicken and then it was MISSION ABORT!
We just saw that he threw himself out of the window and started running in the street. Security came exactly 1 minute after he left. But that 1 minute could have been the worst minute of our life.....We can't explain in words how much we fell in love with our pepper sprays from that day. They are like family members to us now. Now we can't imagine life without them because somehow they were the thin line between life and death that fateful night. We firmly believe they saved our lives.
