Chandler guitar | Less harsh mixes with MSpectraldynamics @Chandlerguitar | Uploaded December 2023 | Updated October 2024, 11 minutes ago.
In this one I'll show how you can use MSpectraldynamics to remove resonances and harsh sounds in the treble reigons of your mix. It is fairly simple, but perhaps not intuitive, but don't worry, I got you. With MSD it is easy to remove nasty high end from instruments or mixes.
00:00 - Intro
01:10 - Using the Slope control
03:27 - Drawing a threshold curve
05:03 - Adjusting the Smoothness control
07:20 - When to use MSD vs an EQ
