This wonderfully soothing melody is by New Age composer Michel Pépé that I discovered while enjoying Ray Woods' Youtube video "Dalmatian Coast". The minute it heard it I fell in love with the song.
So I swiftly sat down and arrange and produce my own backing track playing the nicely sprinkled piano notes on top by ear. As a little bonus I added the keys for interested piano students (in German notation).
As mentioned the background footage is the work of Briton Ray Woods and his wife Carol who took the beautiful pictures during their visit to Croatia and other parts of former Yugoslavia in 2014. If you are familiar with Pippi Longstocking you may notice that her famous sequel "Pippi in the South Seas" was filmed in the surroundings of the picturesque city of Budva, Montenegro south of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
As with the other piece I borrowed from Ray for "remusification" he again gave his permission to use a stripped version of his photo art collage for my video. His original is longer though and I really recommend watching it in its entirety: youtube.com/watch?v=0PxeEU1bstg
