We present our award winning program, Leonardo da Vinci: A Musical Odyssey, commemorating Leonardo 500. This is a one hour live broadcast of the music that Leonardo da Vinci would have heard in the cities in which he lived. Join us for beautiful frottole, sung poetry, music from the Medici and Sforza courts, the circle of Isabella d’Este, and the chansons from da Vinci’s final years in France. Stefanie True, Soprano; Deborah Rentz-Moore, mezzo soprano. And many more.
Select "English United States" closed captions (CC) for song translations.
If you enjoyed this program, please consider a donation. It will go to the musicians. And it will keep the music free.

There is no surviving record of music that Leonardo da Vinci played or composed, but through the writing of Giorgio Vasari we do know that Leonardo was an acclaimed virtuoso on the lira da braccio, and that he loved to accompany himself as he sang improvised poetry.
This program will be broadcast in 4K ultra high definition video.
