Indy Labs - We Put The Science In Your Hands

We're often comfortable in what we already know and are used to, and it's quite natural for people to resist change. Well, conductors and magnetic fields are somewhat similar! When it comes to changing magnetic fields (magnetic flux), conductors that experience them will end up producing magnetic fields that resist the change! Whether that means repelling a magnet coming towards them, or trying to attract back a magnet that moving away from them, conductors seem to "try" to keep things as they were. In this episode, we explore this concept, known as Lenz's Law, and can surprisingly do more with magnets than one might think!
