Lenz law || 3D animated explanation || class 12th physics || Electromagnetic induction ||
Lenz's Law is a fundamental principle in electromagnetism that describes the direction of an induced electromotive force (EMF) and the resulting induced current generated by a changing magnetic field. It is named after the Russian physicist Heinrich Lenz, who formulated it in 1834.
Lenz's Law can be stated as follows:
"The direction of the induced EMF (and hence the induced current) in a conductor will always be such as to oppose the change in magnetic flux that produced it."
