In the 7th century, St. John of Mt. Sinai wrote a practical and theoretical synthesis of desert spirituality. His work became foundational for monasticism and remains essential Lenten reading in Eastern Christian tradition. This three-part series will explore St. John's teachings on the spirituality of the wilderness and how modern Christians can embrace these timeless principles amidst the busyness of contemporary life.
