“Almost a century ago, there was a war. A war amongst the members of a wolf pack, the Pack of Mortrum, and the animals camping on the outskirts who had rebelled against those of the Pack of Mortrum countless years ago. Mortrum members thought of the others as savages, fierce, violent, and uncontrolled. The others thought Mortrum to be pampered, lazy, and dishonest. After fighting for countless suns, both sides had lost many warriors but neither side seemed to care about the lives lost, and they continued to fight without a second thought. But one night, on the full moon, a young novice went out to fight against the orders of the alpha. It is unclear what happened to him that night; but some say he was granted an unk///nown power. It fell into his paws to end this war. He provided both sides with equal riches and flourishment. He had a daughter; the creatures of the land hoped his powers would be passed down through his child, but this proved unavailing. When the wolf died, there was cruelty and poverty once more, and war broke out again. The family line went on, but none ever seemed to have the powers. This was all about to change when a child was born; a child named Astoria”")
