This Is Leidenfrost Effect Mayhem 4k Slow Motion Video.
We had a few requests to film the Leidenfrost effect with our special lights and 4k slow motion cameras, the result was pretty amazing.
usually when you see the leidenfrost effect on youtube it a single drop but in this slow motion video we heat a plate up to about 1000 deg and pour some water on it, the result is what you see here in this 4k slow motion video.
you can see the surface tension of the water pull the whole thing together and as the plate cools down the leidenfrost effect diminishes and the water evaporates.
Watch in 4k for super incredible realism.
we may also film this again but even more extreme with more water.
