It is a piece of art in and of itself; And the perfect instrument to support my style of photography . The main reason I mostly shoot in monochrom is that it shifts your focus to the motions and emotions of the subject you photograph. No distraction of color, just calm silence in the middle of chaos. It turns your photograph into an art piece the second you take it.
I love capturing people and their emotions, movement,… their true self. When I shoot, I try to be in tune with my subject and my surroundings, a sort of meditative state of creation and connection. I like to be completely spontaneous and that means being in tune with my camera that I depend on to help me preserve that moment forever. A moment that happens only once, in a fraction of second. And I can absolutely rely on my Leica M11 Monochrom to deliver the best results in the most difficult conditions.
