The main feature that makes the X4 Disto different than the rest of the disto line is that it comes with a built in camera. This allows users to take a measurement without the need of seeing the red beam. This is particularly useful when shooting outdoors as it is impossible to see a red beam in direct sunlight.
Square footage function: This allows you to get the square footage of room within seconds. Simply navigate to the function(*top left icon), take you length and width measurements and the disto will do the math for you.
*Enable square footage function: Press "FUNC"-- press the left arrow key -- press the up arrow key --- and press "=" to select the square footage function.
