The Leica BLK3D at the core is electronic distance meter. What makes it unique is it's ability to generate accurate measurements from a picture. For example, lets say your doing a kitchen renovation and you forgot to take a measurement onsite. You can now go back to the picture you took and get the measurement you need without having to go back to the jobsite.
