Given I designed my own version of the BARC speeder a while back, I wanted to build a MOC to showcase it in - Saleucami was the obvious choice.
I dug up some concept art and TCW screenshots of Saleucami before starting to build. One very recognisable feature of Saleucami in my eyes were the balloon shaped plants, so I sketched those out quite early on in the process.
With two net pieces for smooth hills and the house as my central reference points I added the landscape around it, placed the palm tree and the balloon plants and finally put the BARC speeder in place. You may have spotted the bit of water spray from the puddle that I added behind the speeder to hint at the speed at which the trooper whizzes across the hills of Saleucami...
